Vintage Raleigh Archer

A vintage Raleigh archer is an older bicycle that was not considered a toy but it was used as cars were used back in the day. This bike was a three-speed bike that was built for men and women to get where they were going. These were built about one hundred years ago.

The first shop that was opened was named after the street that it was on and was owned by a man named Frank Bowden. Now days the bikes are made from many different parts, from different manufactures. They made everything at their factory that was in Nottingham that was about forty acres and more than seven thousand people that work for this company. The only things that was not made there were the saddles, rims and tires.
