Vintage Christmas paper is hard to find, at least in any size or condition that one can use it for anything. There were a lot of people at that time that would save the wrapping paper from a gift that was given to them, either because they loved the look of the paper, or they wanted to keep it as a memoir from someone special. Sometimes it was because of economical reasons that they reused it to wrap a gift for someone else.
Keep in mind the art work is different that what you will find in the stores today. It is less decorative, the colors aren’t as bold and even the texture of the paper is different. It is a great way to enhance old photographs, letters, and various items. By using the paper as a background, one preserves the vintage paper history and the family photo as well.
