Vintage Pennzoil Gas Signs

If you are a collector of vintage gas signs, then the Vintage Pennzoil Gas Sign is probably in your collection. Pennzoil was founded in LA in 1913 but moved to Pennsylvania in 1955. At one point the company was leading the company in oil and gas sales. Texaco and Pennzoil oil companies always had a rivalry going.

Vintage Pennzoil Gas Signs are best known for the yellow background with a red "Liberty Bell". Many signs you find today are reproductions, but if you are lucky you can find some nice "vintage" looking ones. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes but you will always know one when you see one. Even though these signs are easy to find, collectors still value the idea of a good Pennzoil find.
